渚の海草

猛暑、残暑と言われながらも篠島の朝夕は秋らしい心地よさを感じます。
慌ただしかった夏も終わりようやく時間も余裕ができ
気持ちもゆったりしてきました。
おんべ鯛祭りなど、秋のイベントが始まるまでのひとときのティータイムです。

この時期はまだ午後から安定した南風が吹きます。
心地よい篠島を演出する風なのですが、ちょっと迷惑なお土産もあります。
ほとんどがアジモという海草です。
魚の産卵場所となる大切な海草ですが、荒れた日に海底から離れ
漂って渚に漂着します。

自分も含め島民にはさほど気にならず渚のアクセント程度に見えますが
やはりお客さまからはゴミにしか見えないでしょう。
天気図で「今夜は北西の風が吹きそうだ」と考えたので
明るいうちにペットボトルやスチロールの破片など人工のゴミだけ
さっさと拾い集めておきました。
そして先ほどアジモなど海草類を小潮でも波が来る海際までおろしておきました。
涼しい時間帯なのでほんの30分程度の鼻歌仕事です。

予想が当たれば明日は、渚からき海草がれいさっぱり消えているでしょう。
今年は数回やってみました、確率は半々くらいです。

明朝の渚が楽しみです。
